Reward Trip to Evian
Chloé, Project Manager for the Alps region, tells us her success story about a trip to Evian-les-Bains.
What was the objective of this event?
The objective was to offer a "wow" reward trip for the top used-car dealers of an automotive brand. We were commissioned by the agency in charge of the event as the local partner for services excluding transportation and accommodation (activities, external catering, etc.).
What were the highlights of the program?
The client wanted to enhance the trip with original transfers and avoid traditional vehicles as much as possible. To do this, we brought in Tuk Tuks for trips within the city of Evian, arranged a beautiful aperitif cruise on a classic sailing ship to reach a dinner location, used Limousines, etc. The surprise effect for each transfer was definitely achieved!
For activities, participants started with a golf initiation overlooking the lake (a flagship activity of the city known for its international golf tournament), followed by a sailing regatta on habitable sailboats and catamarans (to enjoy Lake Geneva and challenge each other), and then they finished their trip with a variety of à la carte activities (hydrospeed, wakeboarding, massage).
What was your role? How did you experience it?
I was in charge of the event before and during. It was an interesting and educational project that required a good deal of organization, both beforehand (meticulous client, complex logistics, program changes, etc.) and on-site (we had unpredictable weather with thunderstorm risks until the last minute, but fortunately, we managed to avoid the storms). In the end, it was a very beautiful experience with a great outcome. In fact, we worked together again the following year for a winter program in the snow!
What is your best memory from this event?
The arrival by classic sailing ship for dinner in a Château by the lake. The closer we got, the more the château came into view, it was magical!
