The Meilleurs Ouvriers de France in a Team-Building Event
Born from a client need, we created the first corporate event gathering so many Meileurs Ouvriers de France (MOF). A few months ago, a locally engaged stakeholder and proud promoter of regional talents contacted us to create a memorable event aligned with its CSR commitments.
The creation of the concept
An obvious idea emerged to our teams: the Alps are rich with Best Craftsmen of France in various fields. Why not create an experience around these talents? Thus, the Village of MOF was born. On June 2, 2023, we brought together emblematic figures of French craftsmanship in an exceptional setting.
The program included:
Digital Imaging Workshop - With Frédéric GAUDETTE
A fascinating discovery of motion capture where participants interacted with a virtual character, before uncovering the secrets of this technology.
Cheese Tasting Workshop - With Pierre GAY
A culinary journey through the emblematic cheeses of the region: tomme de Savoie, beaufort d'Alpage, goat cheese & reblochon.
Energy Savings Workshop - With Alexandre GALLO
A presentation on renewable energy sources in housing, followed by an interactive quiz and a practical case study.
Wood Sculpture Workshop - With Philippe DURET
Demonstration and introduction to this ancestral art, where each participant was able to carve the logo of the company.
Boat Building Workshop - With Roger BEAUQUIS
A rich exchange moment discovering marine carpentry.
A memorable event
The event was a true success, both in terms of organization and participant engagement. Each workshop allowed attendees to dive into the world of the Best Craftsmen of France, discover their techniques, and try their hand at their crafts.
The exchanges with the Best Craftsmen of France were rich in teaching and sharing. Participants were able to ask all their questions, learn from their expertise, and leave with valuable advice.
An achieved objective
Beyond the discovery of exceptional trades, this event also helped create bonds among participants. Freshly merged teams could get to know each other better, learn about each other’s professions, put faces to voices, and create synergies.
A strong CSR commitment
Our client's CSR approach was respected at every stage of the event. The travel between the different workshops was done exclusively by electric bicycles, thereby reducing our carbon footprint and promoting soft mobility.
Additionally, all partners and artisans involved in the event were local, thus boosting the regional economy and supporting local talents.
To further this commitment, our client decided to donate an amount to the Association of Best Craftsmen of France, based on the number of kilometers cycled by participants during the event.
Organizing a unique and impactful event is a true challenge. By choosing to highlight the Best Craftsmen of France, our client succeeded in creating a one-of-a-kind experience for its employees. Participants were able to discover exceptional trades, interact with recognized experts and strengthen their bonds within the company.
This event was also an opportunity to showcase our client's CSR commitment, promoting soft mobility and supporting local talents.
