Les Deux Alpes is the flagship ski resort of Isère area. It is internationally known for its high-altitude ski area (the largest glacier ski area in Europe), which allows skiing up to 3600 metres above sea level.
The glacier is indeed a serious asset, allowing skiing on natural snow in both winter and summer … and it’s a paradise for mountain-bikers in summer.
Another particular asset is its location on a plateau, which offers a 2 km-long avenue with shops, bars, restaurants … We can go through the resort on foot, or in a carriage, by shuttle, etc . Finally, this resort highlights a beautifully preserved heritage, as well as up-to-date traditions.
